Course description:
This qualification is designed to provide you with a complete understanding of body massage and anatomy and physiology and enable you to provide massage in a safe and effective manner for stress relief, lymphatic drainage and reduced muscle tension. This course is required before you can study other courses (sports massage, aromatherapy, thermal stone etc)

- Contra-indications and Contra-actions to massage
- Professional ethics for a therapist
- Posture and stance for correct massage
- Massage techniques
- Benefits and effects of massage
- Adaptations to suit individual client needs
- Health and Safety included
- Anatomy and Physiology which will include the systems of the Skin, Skeletal, Muscular, Vascular, Lymphatic system.

Course fees: £420
There is a £26.00 fee for VTCT registration and certification. In addition there is a Health & Safety Certificate VTCT Fee of £25.00.
